Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and remote tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.
- Log, track, and manage support tickets using the internal ITSM/ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to 2nd/3rd line support teams as needed.
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
- Support device setup, configuration, and deployment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, fixes, and procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or helpdesk role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills-comfortable supporting users at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with ITIL-based environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, or ticketing systems like Freshdesk or ServiceNow.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals).
