We use bespoke screening methods developed and refined over the last five years to identify the next generation of field service engineering talent. This goes beyond technical experience alone. We assess aptitude, behaviours, learning potential, customer mindset and practical problem-solving ability. 

We manage employment, compliance, right-to-work verification, health and safety and onboarding, creating a clear and professional experience from day one. New academy engineers receive practical information about the training centre, onboarding materials and a welcome pack, alongside content such as day-in-the-life videos from existing engineers so they understand the role, the environment and the opportunity before training begins. 

Engineers gain practical experience alongside experienced mentors in live customer environments, giving them the opportunity to apply their training in real service situations while still being supported. This stage helps build confidence, reinforce technical knowledge and develop the customer-facing behaviours needed in the field.  

Engineers are deployed into live work with ongoing performance management, governance and support from TXP. We retain ownership for the management of those engineers throughout the full Academy journey, from onboarding and training through to field deployment, performance tracking and readiness for transfer. Where appropriate, proven engineers can then move across to the end client as long-term permanent capability.
