We are currently seeking a Scala Development Lead to work with our public sector client

6 months contract

Excellent day rate inside IR35

Location: Remote

The ideal candidates will have a proven Scala Development background within public sector holding active SC clearance

Skills:

Experience of architecting or implementing Microservices on AWS.
It is optionally advantageous to have any experience of TOGAF, Java, Containers/Kubernetes, COBOL

Develop and maintain high-quality Scala applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features.
Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Proven experience in Scala development and a strong understanding of functional programming principles.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
