📢 Job Opportunity: Field Installation Engineer – Nationwide Pub Scanner Rollout – Bristol Area

Location: Bristol Area (travel required)
Start Date: Week Commencing 5th August 2025
Contract Type: Outside IR35 – Umbrella or LTD Company
Day Rate: £175/day (based on 10 hours door-to-door)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours

Concept are recruiting experienced Field Engineers to support a large-scale scanner installation and replacement project across 760 Greene King pub sites nationwide. This is a hands-on role requiring travel, technical skill, and reliability.

🔧 Role Responsibilities

• Install and replace 1824 scanners across designated pub sites
• Locate kit, identify install locations, fit poles/brackets, route cabling
• Calibrate and test scanners, complete sign-off via IAuditor
• Remove broken scanners, repackage in new kit boxes for collection
• Complete digital checklists and submit sign-off before leaving site

🧠 Training & Support

• Shadow shift with Zonal engineer on first site
• Technical support and script provided by Zonal
• Boot stock of 4 scanners and peripherals supplied for emergencies

✅ Requirements

• Own reliable vehicle with business insurance and valid MOT
• Laptop and smartphone for checklist and sign-off
• Standard engineering toolkit (incl. flathead screwdriver, snips, cable ties)
• Willingness to sign parts disclaimer (last week’s pay held until kit return)
• Able to commit to 5 days/week (schedule provided)

💼 Additional Info

• First site arrival by 9am (unless store opens earlier)
• Hotels booked by Concept if required (rare), £20/day meal allowance
• Mileage claimable after 100 miles/day @ 25ppm
• Expenses claimable (parking, tolls, etc.)
• Dress code: plain polo/shirt, dark trousers (no branded clothing or hats)
• Concept will provide ID badge
