Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions within a complex and secure environment. The role focuses on defining end-to-end architectures across cloud infrastructure, platform services, and integration layers, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architecture across cloud, platform, and integration domains
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs
- Produce and govern high- and low-level designs (HLD/LLD)
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and architectural standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Drive best practices across cloud architecture and delivery
- Oversee integration patterns across systems and services
- Support design reviews, governance forums, and assurance activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage risks and dependencies
- Ensure solutions are optimised for performance, cost, and resilience
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex programmes
- Strong background in cloud architecture (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable)
- Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and distributed systems
- Experience producing architecture documentation (HLD/LLD)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working in agile environments
Highly Desirable
- Experience in secure or government environments
- Hybrid cloud and connectivity experience
- Experience across integration layers, APIs, and messaging platforms
- Kubernetes or container platform exposure
- Familiarity with architecture governance frameworks
- Relevant certifications (TOGAF, GCP, or equivalent)
