Lead Technical Architect

Lead Technical Architect – 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35 – £750) | Manchester – ideally hybrid working however once/twice attendance per month is acceptable

We’re looking for a Lead Technical Architect to drive architectural vision, guide engineering practices, and influence large‑scale technical design across multiple product teams for our public sector client

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading technical design and architectural decisions across several teams
• Setting standards, shaping engineering practices, and providing hands‑on technical leadership
• Designing and integrating systems using modern platforms and technologies
• Working closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate complex problems into clear, scalable solutions

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in AWS and Serverless technologies (AWS cert is a bonus).pdf)
• Experience with modern coding practices (JavaScript experience ideal)
• Ability to articulate architectural vision clearly and influence multiple teams
• Someone who has built and operated products at meaningful scale
• Preferably an ex‑developer/technologist not an enterprise architect

Contract details:

• Occasional travel to London/Swansea
• SC clearance preferred (lapsed transferable SC acceptable)
